In ZA you'll pay around R600-800 (~40€) for a test in a private lab, I haven't tried it myself but some reports on testing services at JNB mentioned 6-8hrs turnaround.
My city in the US offers free PCR tests for asymptomatic people at three locations. I was tested at about 6pm earlier this week and had my results just before 9am the next morning. It might have been a longer turnaround time if I’d gone earlier in the day because I think they take all the samples to the lab after they shut down for the day. There wasn’t a signature, but I plan to use this service again if it’s still available before my trip to ZA in June. I have award flights booked on both QR and LX. I know QR doesn’t care about signatures, but does anyone know about Swiss?
