What do you mean by "extra Avios"? If you book using a 2-4-1 voucher, it's a standard award ticket, so you pay the standard amount of Avios and the standard amount of TFC in cash. The only difference is that you only pay the Avios amount for one person, rather than two.
The following is the standard award chart in
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...l#post31910630. From that, you can see the award Avios prices for WT+ in zone 6: 50,000 each way per person peak, 32,500 each way per person off-peak. So an off-peak round-trip would be 65,000 Avios for one person. Using a 2-4-1, you only pay that 65,000 Avios for two passengers, although you pay the cash TFC amount for two passengers.
