OK, I just had an overnight stay at Hilton Plaza and, given the circumstances, I have to say that I'm impressed. For a little context, Austria has a lock down and there are no bars/restaurants open, food delivery is all you can get, and travelling's only allowed for business purposes.
First of all, they have a functional Lounge area next to the Reception. There's a coffee machine, a minibar with soft drinks, some bottles of still and sparkling water, the usual chips - peanuts - gummy bears, and some miniatures of Twix, Mars, etc. They don't have the Happy Hours but.... There's also a minibar by the Reception with some soft drinks and some beers. If you're a Diamond guest, you can choose two drinks and have them in the Lounge (or wherever you want). If you want more, you can have a Heineken or Gösser for 5 EUR (0,33 l) or a Franziskaner Weißbier for 6,50 EUR (0,5 l). Again, keep in mind that you can't have a beer anywhere else so the prices are very good. Somehow we managed to have six beers and three half bottles of white wine for free (they don't have wine on display or on the menu). The fact that we can order from the Room Service menu and have the food in the Lounge is another pleasant surprise for me. The Room Service menu is pretty limited but also very good prices and it's 24/7. For me it's a very good thing with the Lounge next to the Reception because it's never closed and I live by odd hours so having a coffee at 3 or 4 in the morning can define a good day. The breakfast is from 7:00 till 10:00 and you have to ask for almost anything but everything has a personal touch from the chef so you can ask for a plate of salami and still have it with a nice presentation.
