Maybe... that would really be too bad if we can't start booking it until 1/1. I have already booked a decent amount of travel for next year.

I wonder how the companion thing will work. Do you have to select a person at the beginning of the year? Or is it basically a free-ish second ticket? I wouldn't mind just paying taxes and fees to "buy" an extra seat next to me. Poor man's first class, but I'll take it all day long.
