Terminal 6 3-hour testing is not available yet, neither by scheduling nor walk up. We had hoped for that since for transient flyer from international flight there isn’t really much choice. 3-hour will be the only possibility to make same day transfer to Hawaii. Unfortunately it didn’t work out and he had to stay overnight.
Final update is the 24-hour test results finally came out after 26 hours after tons of emails pushing for update. So he can fly out to Hawaii finally and avoided a second night stuck at LAX.
