I do tons of fx transactions every year with DL going back and forth to Canada. Tickets bought ex Canada are priced online in $CDN (but priced in $US on the phone). When they are refunded or exchanged sometimes many months later DL uses the current exchange rate. To protect myself from wild fx swings I usually keep and use $Cdn tickets for future $Cdn tickets.
