Very little is anything is ever permanent. We stayed at PH Melbourne on 3 different vacations back in 2001-2004. On the first stay the lounge was excellent, on the second stay it was closed "permanently", and on the 3rd stay it had reopened, but with very poor offerings. Until they actually renovated and repurpose the space, there is always a chance they might decide to reopen it depending on what they think the market is looking for.
Exactly. It’s as if (presumably educated) people forget these hotels are BUSINESSES. They will do what serves/satisfies their customers AND makes money for them - as they should.
