I've got just short of 100k MP points that will expire in early Feb.
I just applied for the Canadian credit card, but not sure if points will hit the account in time.
It looks as if Mags for Miles should be the cheapest option to insure against points expiring, but when I tried to set it up and gift points to my work colleague who's in Buffalo, NY it wouldn't go through. Seems that I need to specify my address. Can't put my Canadian one down (as it is US format only), tried my colleague's BUF address but to no avail.
Not sure if this is just a problem at my end, or if the business logic on MfM is preventing me from doing this as a Canadian MP account holder. I guess I could try and change my address on my MP account, but not sure if that might then flag a future issue with the credit card once that gets linked.
