Would appreciate any conjecture or insight. Rebooked Club World flights to Cape Town from January 2021 to October 2021 last night after a cancellation. My previous flights in January showed the expected old Club World seat map. The new flights only show the First cabin when I go to select seats, along with the proviso "Club World - Front cabin. You are selecting a flatbed seat at the front of the aircraft which was previously our First cabin and is now sold as Club World. Some elements of the service may differ between the First and Club World cabins". I am BA Blue so am asked to pay £98 a head for these seats.

When I was looking at alternative dates for my flights, I couldn't find any First revenue or Avios seats in late 2021.

Can anyone explain why only the First cabin is showing for seat selection? It's a 777, BA0058.
