When I want to reply to a post I click "Quote" and start typing. But as I start to type the quoted post disappears for abt 1-2 seconds and then reappears.. It's not new, as I've seen this kind of thing happen intermittently with FT throughout this year and even earlier -- and that's with at least iOS+Safari/Firefox and MacOS+Safair/Firefox.
More frequently restarting the devices/applications where this is happening and/or purging the browser in part or in full before relaunching/reinstalling the browser can help.
The issue of the sort you're seeing as of late -- and that I've been seeing for quite some time -- seems to be at least in some substantial part at times a memory/processor hog thing. Mainstream operating system type/version and browser versions don't make a difference. I've got multiple OS versions and browser versions, so merely changing to an older or newer version of the in-use OS and/or broswers hasn't made a difference in the way that doing what I suggest in the prior paragraph has made.
I've defaulted to having more and more of my posts typed outside of the FT window/browser tab before pasting them or having them auto-keyed into the quote box as soon as I start noticing a delay of the sort you have noticed too.
