Hi everyone,

I am seeking advice if anyone can help on how to proceed after Lufthansa moved me from my original connecting flight due to leave 08:55 to a much later flight on the same day at 16:40, this was already flown on 11 December.

Here are the detail of my flighs:

First Leg: Flight LH637, Leaving from BAH at 23:55, Arriving at FRA at 06:50+1
Original Second Leg: Flight LH270, Leaving from FRA at 08:55, Arriving at LIN at 10:05

New Second Leg: Flight LH274, Leaving from FRA at 16:40, Arriving at LIN at 17:50

I booked the flight on November 6 2020 and was notified of the change of schedule on November 17 2020 which at the time I've accepted. However after arriving in FRA on December 11 I noticed that flight LH270 was still scheduled to take place at its original time (08:55) and when approached the lady at the desk I asked if the flight was fully booked and I was said that it was not. I also noticed a passenger who was with me on LH637 ready to board LH270, so why could I not travel with the flight I originally booked and paid for while he could?

As Lufthansa decision to put me on LH 274 effectively costed me to wait 7 Hours and 45 Minutes waiting (instead of 2 Hours and 5 Minutes as originally scheduled) at FRA do you think I am entitled to any compensation at all?

I do not have any status with LH and if not particularly pleasant to wait at an airport for over 7 hours when I could of being out in almost no time, I already contacted LH Customer service and waiting for a response.
