Now what I think you think I might be doing is presenting my Canadian SIN# as an SSN#. That *is* illegal. And that is most certainly not what I do. I approach the bank directly with my passport and a copy of my Canadian credit report.
Sorry why is there an overlap between your SIN and SSN?
Chase doesn't accept SIN number and as part of the credit check there's validation too (ie. previous lived addresses/zip code etc).
Gotta say I'm pretty happy with CSR........ be nice if they can add Aeroplan to UR rewards as well.
