Few days after a
wonderful trip to the beach resort city of Pattaya, I made a weekend trip to Kuala Kangsar, a royal town for the Malaysian Northern state of
Perak. I went there accompanied by my parents and it was made before the pandemic Covid-19 became serious where public still can traveled at ease.
Located at the downstream of Kangsar River, about 25km Northwest of Perak's capital city
Ipoh, Kuala Kangsar is a home to the official residence for Perak's royal families including the Sultan and his Queen. Visitors can wander in the royal town of Kuala Kangsar and witness some remarkable attractions that feature intricate designs such as the royal palace, royal museum, ancient mosque, mausoleum and a royal gallery.

On the day of departure back to Kuala Lumpur (KL), I reached U-Tapao Airport (UTP) with Grab few hours before my flight time. The terminal was quite empty when I arrived, but it quickly became busy with the arrival of some groups of Russian tourists who will be flying back to their home country on that day.
