So I'm guessing my experience is nothing new. I assumed that the 75K points on 5K in 6 months and 10X groceries was just the standard offer.

So I when I try to apply for it on AMEX website, it then prompted me to login to my account (have a Hilton card with them). So I logged in and applied. Was approved and I called to verify. Rep said I was getting the 75K with 5K spending3 months and no 10x on groceries. After arguing and getting nowhere, at one point the rep said 'this happens all the time' to which I replied 'and doesn't that indicate a problem vs. an accident?' Anywho, I'm awaiting a call from her 'manager.' But she said nothing will change. My questions...

Has anyone had luck
1) getting them to change the bonus
2) had any luck with the CFPB or your State's AG?

I've got some free time so don't mind chasing this down and making noise but if as the rep said 'it happens a lot' I'm guessing there are some DPs that would tell me if it's worth it.
