I’ve generally found reservations can be made up to 50 weeks in advance with the new day starting at 12 midnight local hotel time. I’ve booked high demand hotels this way for things like the Super Bowl and Final Four basketball championships in various cities across the US over several years. Same has worked for me in Europe and Asia.
