From my experience, a 787 or A350 has a higher chance of getting a remote stand compared to a 777. However, it really depends on your luck.
They're usually really efficient even if it's a remove stand and if so, there will be QR ground agents standing in the transit hall holding up signs for flights with tight connections.
Some origins don't require transit security screening at DOH (eg. MAN) so that could potentially save you a few minutes.
