Stevens Pass (weekend)
- Lift queue: as per usual in terms of lining up, so you're only separated from the person in front and back of you by the ski/board. But they left a little bit of space between adjacent aisles so that you're not standing right next to a stranger. In the morning, 5-12 minute wait. Minimal wait in the afternoon.
- Bathroom: did not use, but did not see any queue.
- Cafeteria / Lunch: did not use cafeteria. Packed a bag of nuts which we ate at the top of one of the lifts. Without availing myself of indoor break time, I'd had enough after ~4 hrs on the slopes.
- Mask enforcement/compliance: Some staff really diligent about getting on folks who were slacking. This is just an estimate... in the lift queue areas, close to 90% had mask over at least the mouth, ~75% properly had mask over mouth and nose.
It may be good to keep a face mask looped around your ears underneath your baclava, one like a surgical mask that's flexible enough to keep under your chin. That way you can alternate between baclava and facial mask for covering your mouth and nose. With all the steam coming out of your mouth out in the cold, it gets unpleasant to keep baclava over your mouth and nose for extended period of time. But once you have the baclava on, you obviously can't loop a face mask over your ears.
