I have always thought the reciprocal benefit was lopsided. Used to be United MP elites got MR Platinum (Old Platinum, current MR Titanium) status IIRC. Not sure what it is currently. I always thought MR Elites (current Titanium) should have gotten Star Alliance gold status to be on par. Oh well....
