Due to the dynamic nature of COVID-19, it remains a challenging time for our industry as the virus continues to take an unforeseeable toll on global travel and impacting the business of many companies around the world. Guided by our purpose of care for our guests, colleagues and customers, at this time, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all operations at Ventana Big Sur effective December 13th 2020, until January 10th 2021.
During this period, the hotel will not accept any new reservations for stays and existing reservations and events booked through the hotel or Hyatt will be cancelled at no penalty.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to honor your upcoming reservation. Your reservation will be cancelled without penalty, and you will receive an email notification of the cancellation. If your reservation required pre-payment, you will receive a full refund within the next 10 business days.
We continue to closely monitor the ongoing situation, remaining vigilant and following local and state guidelines, as well as enhanced procedures and protocols developed in consideration of guidance and information from various health organizations including the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local authorities and other leading organizations and experts.
