That's what I was thinking. You don't want to close one of your long-standing accounts, either. That's why I don't go for one of the fee cards. If I ever switch from AA, I don't want to cancel a card and hurt my credit. That could really hurt your pocketbook in terms of an interest rate hike on any new loans you take out!
