Honestly , for myself who pays for my own tickets, I EXPECT the meals to be at least visually presentable and that includes the cutlery. BA with its all plastic utensils right now just don't cut it as being elegant. Sure one can get meals anywhere but after having spent x amount of dollars/pounds or euros on a F class ticket, I would at least prefer SOME decent selection of grub!
Otherwise I would just buy 3 seats in economy together plus the one in front for total creature comforts... which would still cost less that the oneway F class ticket on BA travelling in the same direction. If only they would award me 4x the miles, I'd be doing this in a hurry!
