Hence the reason for the qualifier 'in this case'. In other topics size could certainly matter.
Size of the knife has been raised a couple of times. Whether a person is capable of injuring someone with a knife or not just doesn't matter. TSA rules prohibit knives except for what I called a butter knife. I don't necessarily agree with TSA but do respect their rules when traveling by air. This particular rule seems easy enough to comply with.
The lady had opportunity to surrender the knife but did not. Point, Game, and Match TSA!
