That was a Sundeck Casita, which is technically the highest non-suite category room. Some of them have spectacular views, though the rooms themselves are on the small side, especially the baths. How was the Sonoran Suite?
I thought the Sonoran Suite was pretty nice... didn't have the biggest bath but there were jets in it, and a huge separate shower. Had two patios for the living room & bedroom (although no view), and the living room was comfortable for working/relaxing and had a fireplace.
