You are correct, Xandrios, that there is NOW a way to apply for a refund. But previously there was not as Aegean were blanking all requests to obtain cash refunds and offering only a voucher option.
There has undoubtedly been a significant recent change in Aegean's willingness to resolve long-standing refund issues. This morning, I received an e-mail from customer relations which began ' Thank you for reaching out to us' before then apologising for the problems that have arisen. The official then stated that 'I personally remain at your disposal should you need any further assistance.' Ending her e-mail with 'we are looking forward to welcoming you on board again soon, wishing health to you and your loved ones, as well' shows evidence of care for customers which is much appreciated. As a long-standing customer with 1.1 million Aegean miles currently in my account, I will start flying A3 again and today booked 3 itineraries via ATH.
