JAL certainly served Brazil in the 1980s, I know they operated NRT-LAX-Brazil with 747 later in the '80s. And MEX-YVR-NRT was another classic JAL route. So, to squeeze more stops in in 1980, how about JL with a D8L operating GIG-VCP-LIM-MEX-YVR-NRT.

Maybe the twilight of UA's Latin America hub at MIA that it picked up from PA in 1992 or thereabouts? UA is my guess.
