I've just finished a week at the RC Battery Park and RC Boston Common (reports to come when I return to the UK). I would add:

Two sinks - it takes up less space than you would imagine and is very useful

DVD player - for crying out loud, you can buy them for GBP 30 these days, so how come neither of these RC had them? (I am in a full suite at Boston Common and no DVD, was only in a basic room in NY)

Useful magazines - Architectural Digest is fascinating I'm sure (RC Boston) but a local listings mag would have been better. A New Yorker and Time Out in NY would also have been helpful.

A toilet with a separate door (supplied in Boston and NY this week)

A telescope - OK, probably only RC Battery Park does that ......!!!

Extended breakfast hours - 6.30 to 11am would be ideal (Boston has 11am) but at least 10am

For the record, the full New York Times was delivered on Sunday at the RC at no charge.
