For those in pricier markets (like California), check out some of the older Joie De Vivre properties that have similar pricing to Hyatt Places ($70-$80/night) for longer-term stays. It did not occur to me until after I booked a stay, but Hyatt does have a $75 off $250 offer for its independent, non-Hyatt branded hotels (Unbound, Destination, and JDV) for Hyatt credit cardholders. You have to register for it, and the discount runs through 3/31/21, so overlaps with the bonus period.
