I recently has a look at my GF's MP account balance and calculated that 2 NW flights paid for and flown in NW F class were credited to AS as Z class (so 25% CoS counting towards MP status instead of 50%).

I first contacted AS MP who told me to call NW WP. NW WP told me they sent the miles AS and it's AS's problem to decipher how much CoS bonus to award. So I went back to AS MP and asked them to look into it. After a few days of nothing, I called and an agent read me the comment on the file. The essence of the comments was that a XXX-YYY fare in that class of service was some 4-5x what my GF paid (haven't they heard of sales) and that "no further miles are to be awarded". Nice.

I guess my only course of action is to call WP again and ask them to resend the miles for readjustment. I did just that and now have to see what happens. My GF's MVP status for '05 depends on the readjustment.
