Bay Area counties (including San Francisco, San Jose) + Berkeley ordered closure of all bars and restaurants (takeout is still permitted) and hotels are permitted to stay open for critical infrastructure support only. Museums, wineries and outdoor playgrounds are also closed. Outdoor recreational areas will stay open but all food concessions are closed.

I am not sure how they plan to enforce the hotel requirements though San Jose had the same restriction last March, so perhaps someone can comment on whether rez were cancelled. There is also a 10pm curfew though again not clear how/if that is being enforced except through mandatory closure of most businesses (except groceries, Rx, etc.)

It is not clear how long this will last - supposedly until the threat to ICU capacity is diminished but who knows - at this point through January 4.

I'm confused by your +Berkeley. Isn't Alameda considered a Bay Area county?
