The news release came from the city, so they're likely claiming that Southwest flies DEN-PNS nonstop.
This was a Pensacola newspaper article, so yes this is from a Pensacola perspective, not Denver

Pensacola International Airport offers service to 13 destinations through six airlines. United Airlines provides nonstop flights to Houston and will add flights to Dulles International Airport starting Dec. 17.
