I'm headed to Aruba in a few days and their entry rules state that you must quarantine in your lodging until the test-on-arrival results are delivered.
They were telling people it takes typically 6-12 hrs (you'll see it both in the Aruba Health App and email -- download the app while you're standing in line waiting, it'll save time later in the process), and if it's been more than 24hrs then call a number on this sheet of paper.
Since I arrived mid/late afternoon, I just stayed in the suite*, ordered room service, enjoyed the view, did some reading etc, had a Zoom with friends for a while, then went to bed. My result came ~10 hrs after leaving the airport, while I was sleeping.
*Front desk gave me a key that they said would only work once, and said that when I got my result I should come back to get a "real" key made. Which sounds reasonable in theory, but when I got to the room the housekeeping supervisor was just finishing a room check and held the door open for me, so probably if I'd wanted to I could have exited and reentered once (I didn't). Also a few hours later the mobile key in the app was activated

but didn't try that either. And if people are traveling as a group... So you're relying on people to be good neighbors, or unimaginative...
