[Passport/Admission Information] Russian Fed. (RU)

 Warning:
- Passengers must have a printed medical certificate with a
  negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result issued at
  most 72 hours before arrival. The medical certificate must
  be issued in Russian or in English. A notarized translation
  to Russian is accepted.  
 - This does not apply to nationals of the Russian Fed. 

Passport required.

 Passport Exemptions:
- Nationals of the Russian Fed. with a certificate for
  returning to the Russian Fed. 
- Nationals of the Russian Fed. with a domestic passport
  (written only in Russian) and a certificate for returning to
  the Russian Fed. Carrier must send prior notification to the
  port of entry and obtain approval from Russian border
  police.
- Nationals of Kazakhstan with a national ID card arriving
  from Kazakhstan. 
- Nationals of Kyrgyzstan with a national ID card arriving
  from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan or Tajikistan.
- Passengers with a seaman book. 
- Passengers with a seafarers' identity document.
- Nationals of Israel with a Travel Document in Lieu of
  National Passport. 
- Passengers with a Laissez-Passer issued by the United
  Nations traveling on duty.
- Passengers with a travel document issued to refugees or
  stateless persons by the country in which they reside. 
- Passengers with a Permit to Re-Enter (Form I-327) issued by
  the USA.
- Nationals of Argentina and Colombia with an emergency
  passport. 
- Nationals of Romania with a temporary passport. 
- Passengers with an Alien's passport issued by Estonia and
  Latvia. 

 Document Validity:
- Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be
  valid on arrival. 

 Admission and Transit Restrictions:
- Passengers are not allowed to enter the Russian Fed. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of the Russian Fed. 
 - This does not apply to permanent residents of the Russian
   Fed. 
 - This does not apply to family members of nationals of the
   Russian Fed. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Belarus if arriving
   from Belarus (not traveling on flights FV/SU6496). 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Cuba if arriving from
   Cuba. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Egypt if arriving from
   Egypt. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Ethiopia if arriving
   from Ethiopia. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Japan if arriving from
   Japan. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Kazakhstan if arriving
   from Kazakhstan. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Korea (Rep.) if
   arriving from Korea (Rep.). 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Kyrgyzstan if arriving
   from Kyrgyzstan (not traveling on flights SU1883 and
   SU1895). 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Maldives if arriving
   from Maldives.

 - This does not apply to nationals of Seychelles if arriving
   from Seychelles. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Switzerland if arriving
   from Switzerland.
 - This does not apply to nationals of Tanzania if arriving
   from Tanzania. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of Turkey if arriving from
   Turkey. 
 - This does not apply to nationals of the United Arab
   Emirates if arriving from the United Arab Emirates. 
 - This does not apply to British nationals if arriving from
   the United Kingdom. 
 - This does not apply to residents of Belarus if arriving
   from Belarus (not traveling on flights FV/SU6496). 
 - This does not apply to residents of Cuba if arriving from
   Cuba. 
 - This does not apply to residents of Egypt if arriving from
   Egypt. 
 - This does not apply to residents of Ethiopia if arriving
   from Ethiopia. 
 - This does not apply to residents of Japan if arriving from
   Japan. 
 - This does not apply to residents of Kazakhstan if arriving
   from Kazakhstan. 
 - This does not apply to residents of Korea (Rep.) if
   arriving from Korea (Rep.).

 - This does not apply to residents of Turkey if arriving from
   Turkey. 
 - This does not apply to residents of the United Arab
   Emirates if arriving from the United Arab Emirates. 
 - This does not apply to residents of the United Kingdom if
   arriving from the United Kingdom. 
- Passports issued to nationals of Uzbekistan must be
  biometric (with an electronic chip symbol on the cover) to
  enter. 
- Passports issued to nationals of Uzbekistan must be
  biometric (with an electronic chip symbol on the cover) to
  transit. 
 - This does not apply to passengers with an onward connection
   to Uzbekistan.

 Crew Members:
- The same regulations as for passengers apply, and
  additionally a General Declaration is required.

 Military:
- Same regulations as for passengers apply.

 Additional Information:
- Nationals of the Russian Fed:
  - holding dual nationality should arrive and depart the
  Russian Fed. on the same document. 
  - are not allowed to depart from the Russian Fed. with an
  expired passport. 
- Normal non-biometric passports issued to nationals of
  Armenia must contain an endorsement stating the validity of
  the passport for stays abroad. 

 Minors:
- Russian minors who are 14 years old or younger can be
  included in the passport of their parent or guardian. They
  must travel with their parent or guardian. 
- Russian minors who are 18 years old or younger, leaving the
  Russian Fed. and traveling alone  must have a notarized
  letter  Power of Attorney  in the Russian language stating
  that the minor is permitted to leave the Russian Fed. This
  also applies to minors not residing in the Russian Fed. but
  still holding a Russian passport.
