Any updates available? Have tentative plans to be there in January. Looking at Sheraton and JW. But native Brazilian in the group is again staying there because of the proximity to Flavela. It's not my first time seeing the less than desirable places while traveling. I just don't want to be in the "think of things" in Ipanema or Copacabana. In fact, I actually don't really want to go but it's a work trip for COVID-19. It's not like it's a vacation. But it will be my first time in Rio, the experience will shape my memory. Hmmm..
