It looks like the family would get the free stretch seating. On the above link it states under the 50k details "FAMILY SEATING-You and your family & friends get free advanced seat assignments, including stretch! This benefit can be used for up to 8 travelers on the Elite member's booking." The free carry on though is for the member only at 50k.
