I just did DCA-MIA-MID in F, on miles, no status with AA (generally I am a UA customer). I was very pleased Friday evening with the turkey and Havarti cheese sandwich served. In fact it was one of the better sandwiches I've had recently. A fair amount of meat and the lettuce was fresh. The FA was fantastic about service - beverage refills offered proactively. I sent a compliment note to AA today because the service was so good and while I had no food on the MIA-MID segment, the service was also excellent!

(In fact, after I entered the secured zone at DCA, I was thinking that I hadn't had lunch and I was going to be really hungry by the time I arrived at MIA. I think the only venue open in C was Kapnos Taverna, and it did not have an appetizing menu!)
