Agree. F fares are significantly cheaper now, certainly enough less to finance a very nice meal on the ground or to go. I enjoy the diversion of the formal meal service as much as anyone, but outside of international J or transcon, the food was never much to write home about.

We seem to bounce cyclically here between “I’m outraged they removed the meal service” and “OMG. This meal sucks, Why do they even bother?”
