Buyatab is now rejecting me (as opposed to TD rejecting it) for a $1000 purchase. Their fancy ML fraud system (Riskified...not to self: never do business with them) won't let it through. 48 hours to resolve. Promo ends tomorrow.
Luckily, I was able to get a $25 gift card.
I don't know what part of it seems fraudulent, given they aren't asking for much information, and I've never had issues with my US credit cards before. Must be something related to my TD card.
I made multiple purchases yesterday with Buyatab, including a $5,000 purchase on my TD Aero Infinite Privilege card. The charge was allowed by TD just fine. Earlier in the spring, an identical purchase on that same card got rejected. The only thing I can think of, is on my first purchase, the card was newly opened and it was one of the first purchases I charged to it, so perhaps their anti-fraud algorithms are more conservative on newly opened accounts.
