I have an Air France Bank of America credit card.I called the retention department and they told me that if I make $1500 purchases in 3 months, I would get $100 statement credit. I made more than that and I didn't get my $100 credit. I called today the retention department, she said that I didn't meet the requirements. I asked her for numbers, she gave me 3 numbers that added together were slightly more than $1500. I told her about this and she said that only "net retail purchases" count. So I went to Bofa web site and I selected "More options - Type: Purchases" and added (or subtracted for returns) all my purchases, and I found the following: air france credit card purchases: $1545.08, and premium rewards credit card purchases: $22.20.
Does someone has a similar experience? Now, I'm seriously thinking about terminating my Air France credit card.
