I have a Freedom Flex, a Freedom, Freedom Unlimited and now Chase Sapphire Preferred - I have earned more points with this setup this quarter than I believe I ever have under Ultimate Rewards. The main thing is I am available to pay some normal expenses via PayPal, so I will max out $3,000 in spending across the two Freedom cards for 15,000 points. I am also putting a decent amount of dining, drug store and other spending on the Freedom Unlimited. I keep a CSP for transferring to airline/hotel programs. At some point I may re upgrade to CSR if it makes sense. But in terms of points earnings, CSR in itself is not necessarily what it used to be (there is 3x on travel, but I would argue that 5x on airfare with Amex Plat and higher multipliers on hotel travel with cobranded cards is more compelling)
