If you’re a Globalist a 30 night MR just makes no sense, because if implies you don’t expect to stay essentially at all in 2021. For any Globalists considering this route I’d definitely lean more towards a 20 Night MR. Then you’d only need 20 or less nights to requalify. The or less portion would be factored if you have a WOH Credit Card or if you’ve stayed a couple nights already in Q4 counting as Rollover Nights.

I’m doing a 5-6 Night stay over New Years for the sole purpose of earning 12 Elite Night Credits towards 2021. Was able to get a JDV hotel for $59 a Night (won’t say which property), but I’m hoping they have their breakfast available at least.

Just my two cents.
IMO, there's no urgency to booking a 30 night MR and getting Globalist in January 2021 because international travel likely wont resume in any normal fashion until closer to 2022. I think that a 25 night MR would be sufficient, because it would place me within striking distance of Globalist. I hope they also run this promotion in Q4 2021 because I anticipate little to no 2021 travel.
