There is a large AWS outage ongoing. It's affecting a bunch of services - supervised Vault COVID tests, for instance. I wouldn't be surprised if it's also impacting Alaska.

Edit: I just saw this was posted yesterday... so it likely isn't related to the current AWS outage.
