This is definitely a pain in the behind with LM and quite bad in this particular case, especially considering the OP was super proactive and monitoring.
I had an LX ticket issued maybe 2 weeks ago, but it was a new booking. I did get the reservation record email from LM, but never did I receive the e-ticket numbers till today. I was able to see the e-ticket numbers on LX site (and assign seats), but will check Saudi site to view the e-ticket and make sure it is in order.
In the past, with schedule changes, I had to cancel (free of charge) once or twice and rebook a new itinerary (there was new / different availability that achieved the same outcome) as LM couldn't get the reissue sorted as well. YMMV.
