I forgot to post my review from mid-Sept but it would be pretty much the same as linsj. I really liked my room and was happy I stayed here rather than the Sheraton up the road. The Gold breakfast was fabulous esp as you get zippo at Marriott properties now. The main downside is that the bar and restaurant here closes at 9pm which is not great for those of us arriving early evening at SAN. You are limited to doordash or Uber eats and fewer choices as the night progresses. As noted above the disadvantage here is that nothing is walking distance. Also did not appreciate pot smoke in hallway but this seems endemic to all Calif properties now. I don’t care what you do at home but please don’t smoke up my hallways with pot or anything else.
