My >440K miles ("leftovers" from the time I was PE) were supposed to expire last June and they got extended due to Covid-19, like everybody else's, till the end of this year. I flew AF/KL last October and the miles were indeed extended, as promised, for two years from the date of the last flight. I now hope to be able to spend them next year, virus permitting.
