yeah, saw that this morning. makes me wonder what would happen if you booked now for late next year. would you be walked or would hilton simply honor the reservation at the price from today? but if they did, then you wouldn't get any benefits from bonvoy status. i suppose that when hilton takes over, they can just cancel all of the outstanding reservations that they don't want to accept and if it's done far enough in advance then no compensation would be due.
