Sounds like the solution is to simply load up on Sunnies, Green Dot, and US Bank-issued cards instead... It begs the question, why do we all buy MetaBank/Blackhawk Network ones? Is it just because BNH is so large and easy to find? I just realized they own Cashstar the other day and I'm amazed how much of the gift card market (merchant, Visa/MasterCard, reward/promotion fulfillment) is dominated by them
