Not quite the exact same scenario but I have booked a trip to Barcelona for someone else with my Centurion card. I called in and told them I was booking a trip for someone other than myself and had no issues. The Amex pricing was honored and subsequently the points redemption process was business as usual.

Personally I would suggest calling in.
