^ I just rented my first time through Hertz as a #1 Gold member and I must say the experience was the best rental car experience I have had!

I used their internet double upgrade coupon with a AAA discount and was upgraded to a convertable Toyota Solara at a compact price! Since it was my first Gold rental, I did have to go inside to show ID and Credit Card (required for your first rental) but it only took 5 minutes and I was off.

Hopefully this service will be the norm, and not a lucky first time!
