I had a Sofia to Phoenix booked using the value of a cancelled ticket from a previous booking of TXL-BOS, the TXL-BOS was fully refundable as several legs had been cancelled, and the rebooked flights made no sense, for exmple leaving HEL before the flight from TXL had arrived. I paid a small additional amount of around £23 for the SOF-PHX itinerary.
Following another set of schedule changes the SOF-PHX was re-ticketed on a new ticket number but keeping the original record locator. This second ticket for showed the purchase price of the original TXL-BOS ticket, and the small additional payment, a total value of around €1350.
Today I phoned to cancel the SOF-PHX as my Helsinki shuffle had been re-timed, actually cancelled and booked on another flight, and my LHR-PHL-PHX had become LHR-ORD-PHX. Agent cancelled and directed me to prefunds, but this shows an amount of a little over $340 as the amount. Should I proceed with prefund, is their opportunity to correct this or explain, or should I call again and clarify the amount before continuing.
