Yes, I stayed there last week. Of all the places I had stayed in Mexico, this one seemed to be operating the most normal, unlike others that have had rooms stripped bare, apart from soaps, towels and a bottle of water! I only stayed one night, had a look at the roof top pool and there was a few people there, although there had been a big downpour half an hour earlier as I was arriving (turning the road outside into lakes!), and the bar was open. There was signs in the lifts for event over the next two days, a Ladies night that evening - I headed out for the evening, so can't report anything on that.
I was surprised to find a full cooking facility in the room, but no pots/pans/dishes, and thought they had been removed for Covid times, but someone who did the review in 2018 said the same. There was 2 bottles of anti bac gel and a packet of wipes in the room, nice for those are paranoid about those things which was a thoughtful touch. Another Covid thing was a walk through sprayer at the front door, and at first I just thought it was a metal detector as found in hotels located in dangerous parts of the world, and wondered why it made an odd noise after I walked through it - motion sensor to trigger the sprayer. Although if you are that worried about things, I doubt you are jetting off to a holiday hot spot, but it is all box ticking I guess so the authorities let them open for business.

Breakfast was an American Breakfast, although Mexican options were offered, no mention of upcharges for anything, and it was pretty good. There is a nice little taco place opposite the side street of the hotel that has good prices and the locals eat at - I tried it for a late afternoon snack, nice lady who runs the place and the food was good. I had a rental car, and they didn't charge me for parking, other than I tipped the guys for looking after the car - just pull into the side street and pull up to the garage entrance and they sort it all out. Otherwise, the staff seemed friendly and happy to back to getting busy again.
